“A humanitarian crisis like the one in Ukraine required an immediate response, not just in words but also in deeds,” says Thomas Oellig, Managing Director of the Domus Vivendi Group.

Long-term thinking and responsible behaviour have always been the basis of the company’s economic success. For many years, the Domus Vivendi Group has also been involved in various social areas in order to provide targeted situational support where help is needed.

“When the charitable organisation Asociación de Voluntarios de CaixaBank approached us with the “Challenge 30 x 15″ project, it was therefore obvious for us to support it by sponsoring two ambulances,” Oellig continues.

The aim of the project was to raise money for the procurement of ambulances with medical equipment for Ukraine. Thanks to the enormous wave of solidarity from private customers, companies and NGOs who donated, the challenge was not only mastered, but also exceeded all expectations in the end. 75 ambulances, medically equipped with defibrillators, medicines and resuscitation equipment, were taken to Ukrainian hospitals by volunteer drivers between May and September.
