At the turn of the year 2021/2022, the project developer Domus Vivendi Group is opening up another location: Kitzbühel, Austria. In the course of the steady growth of the internationally active real estate developer, one ties in with the successful project line ELEMENTS, which Domus Vivendi Group has established on the Balearic Islands, with the brand MOUNTAINMENTS, which was founded especially for Austria. “MOUNTAINMENTS is virtually the Alpine offshoot of our established ELEMENTS project line: here spectacular mountain panorama, Alpine idyll and modern living in first-class construction quality, Made in Germany, come together,” emphasizes Thomas Oellig, founder and active partner of the Domus Vivendi Group.
Recently, the foundation stones for the development of the first projects in the new terrain were laid with the establishment of the first two Austrian project companies MOUNTAINMENTS ONE GmbH and MOUNTAINMENTS TWO GmbH as well as the purchase of two plots of land in the district of Kitzbühel. “Kitzbühel is, of course, a market that we have been observing for a long time. An international hotspot that plays in a league with Ibiza and Mallorca. It was a matter of time when we start here” adds managing director Alexander Beulich.
Also in Austria the projects are to carry the signature of Domus Vivendi: Modern, in highest quality, with country-typical accents. Thus the focus is set on local material choice. The plan is to create unique chalets and apartments in traditional construction, with lots of old wood, open fireplaces, projecting gable roofs, muntin windows and wooden balconies. “Our company name Domus Vivendi stands for houses for living – our customers are to experience here completely particularly security and deceleration of the everyday life” underlines Beulich.
The start of construction for the first project under the project company MOUNTAINMENTS ONE, a high-quality chalet in first-class quality with approximately 440 square meters of total area and a project volume of approximately 12 million €, is still planned in the summer of this year. At least two more developments are to follow in addition to MOUNTAINMENTS ONE and MOUNTAINMENTS TWO. The planned project volume for the first four developments of the Domus Vivendi Group in Austria is around €75 million.
The new Domus Vivendi office and showroom are also scheduled to open in the centre of Kitzbühel by May 2022. “We will be highlighting all of the Domus Vivendi Group’s projects here and not just offering the Austrian projects for sale. We hope to be able to offer an interesting network for our international customers, in particular through the now four exclusive locations of our offices in Königstein, Ibiza and Mallorca as well as in Kitzbühel,” says Thomas Oellig.
