DoMUS VIVENDI Group and its partner Mercurius Real Estate AG have sold their micro-apartment complex Little East to Hamburg Trust. The fund and investment manager is taking over the building near the new headquarters of the European Central Bank for 30 million euros. He will contribute it to a closed-end real estate mutual fund.

On 13th November 2012, the DOMUS VIVENDI Group and Mercurius Real Estate AG were awarded planning permission for the micro-apartment complex in Ostend, Frankfurt am Main after a good year’s wait. The partners have already started work on the development, which is due to be completed in March 2014.

Business partners the Domus Vivendi Group and Mercurius Real Estate AG have started construction on the micro-apartment development in Heidelberg-Bahnstadt. A micro-apartment complex will be built as a KfW passive house 40 in line with EnEV 2009 on the site. The plans are for a total living space of approximately 4700 m², housing 218 part-furnished residential units.

Thorsten Dammert, former head of catering at Dussmann Service Deutschland GmbH, took over the role of head of product and concept development at Domus Vivendi Service GmbH on 1st April 2012. He will plan and implement day barconcepts for office buildings. The focus is on freshness and sustainability, as well as on the Rhine-Main region.

The second micro-apartment complex from project partners DOMUS VIVENDI GmbH & Co. KG and Mercurius Real Estate AG has been handed over to its buyer ARAG Lebensversicherungs AG from Düsseldorf fully let. The development is located on Salvador Allende-Straße 1 in the Frankfurt district of Bockenheim. The convenient location and the successful micro concept meant that the 164 micro-apartments were let quickly.

Domus Vivendi Service GmbH has secured the services of Stefan Scheffer for its team. Mr Scheffer is an experienced specialist in the field of catering and child/school catering in the Rhine-Main region. He has over 20 years’ experience in catering management and has worked with many renowned customers in the Rhine-Main region, including Deutsche Bahn AG, DFS and Adam Opel AG.

DOMUS VIVENDI and Mercurius Real Estate have successfully sold their second micro-apartment complex to ARAG Lebensversicherungs AG from Munich. The project development was financed by the WGZ Bank from Düsseldorf. The development on Salvador Allende-Str. 1 in Bockenheim, Frankfurt am Main, features over 164 micro-apartments and is targeted at commuters, young professionals and students with its central location and facilities. The micro-apartments are fully furnished.
