On 12 October 2022, following receipt of the building permit for MOUNTAINMENTS ONE, excavation work started, marking the start of the construction of the Domus Vivendi Group’s first luxury chalet at the new location in Kitzbühel.

The MOUNTAINMENTS brand, which was founded specifically for Austria, follows on from the successful ELEMENTS project line that the Domus Vivendi Group has established on the Balearic Islands. “MOUNTAINMENTS is, so to speak, the Alpine offshoot of our well-known ELEMENTS project line, where spectacular mountain panoramas, Alpine idyll and modern living come together in first-class construction quality, Made in Germany,” emphasises Thomas Oellig, Managing Director of the Domus Vivendi Group.

MOUNTAINMENTS ONE combines tradition and luxury

Built over three levels and covering more than 600 square metres including terraces and balconies, the chalet sets its own standards – even beyond the exclusive locations of the Kitzbühel mountains. MOUNTAINMENTS ONE uniquely combines the traditions of Tyrolean craftsmanship with all the possibilities that modern comfort technologies can provide today.

“We give MOUNTAINMENTS ONE a unique character and its own soul by using local materials and relying on the finest craftsmanship,” continues Oellig.

MOUNTAINMENTS ONE has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The interior is characterised by a variety of fascinating details. Special features of the chalet include the spacious spa area with a ground-level plunge pool and direct access to the year-round heated outdoor pool and hot whirlpool, a home cinema, a natural stone wine cellar with temperature control and additional climate cabinets as well as a heated and ventilated ski depot. In addition to the focus on the local choice of materials and the numerous highlights, MOUNTAINMENTS ONE is characterised in particular by its sustainable and resource-conserving construction methods. For example, the underfloor heating is powered by energy-efficient air heat pumps.

The spectacular location of MOUNTAINMENTS ONE offers a fantastic panoramic view of the mountains around the Wilder Kaiser and as far as the Großvenediger.

The project volume amounts to around 12 million euros. Completion is planned for Q4/2023.
