Domus Vivendi starts pre-sales for HIPPIEMENTS
Ibiza/Königsstein, 20th April 2020 – On 18 May the official sale of HIPPIEMENTS by ELEMENTS, a real estate project of the Domus Vivendi Group, will begin. The leading German project developer for real estate on the Balearic Islands is bringing the quality standard of the ELEMENTS project series from Mallorca to Ibiza. From 20 April, registered pre-sales members will have the opportunity to inform themselves about the HIPPIEMENTS purchasing process and to secure a unit at a preferential price for a period of four weeks.
With HIPPIEMENTS, a total of 63 mostly compact apartments and four penthouses with a total gross living space of around 6,950 square metres are being built on five floors in Ibiza. Construction is scheduled to start in Q1/2021, with a construction period of around 20 months. The prices of the apartments will start at EUR 525,000 and the sales volume will be around EUR 60 million.
HIPPIEMENTS is one of the construction projects of Domus Vivendi’s ELEMENTS, which are already being realised in Mallorca. In Portals, Nous Domus Vivendi is currently completing a residential complex with 30 apartments across a total area of 9,500 square metres. Meanwhile GREEN ELEMENTS, another apartment project with 25 units, is currently nearing completion in Mallorca, Santa Ponsa. Construction of the 18-unit BLUE ELEMENTS project in Port d’Andratx will begin shortly.

In addition to a special architectural approach, which is largely characterised by elements such as natural stone, wood, glass and vertical gardens, HIPPIEMENTS has some special highlights in store for the future owners. For example, the apartments, called “suites”, are named after places and icons from the hippie era. In the centre of the building there is a 15-metre high, open, tropically landscaped patio on which a graffiti artwork by the Ibizan artist Toni Riera is installed. A SPA area with a beach pool, hammam and gym or a so-called “ChillMENTS” garden are available to the owners in addition to the extensive service package. As in all ELEMENTS projects, HIPPIEMENTS will offer an in-house concierge service.
Ibiza still in demand for property purchases
Even in times of the Corona crisis, the Balearic Island’s attractiveness for real estate buyers is currently unbroken, Thomas Oellig notes: “We are seeing many positive impulses despite the economic state of emergency. After all, secure investment opportunities are in demand especially in times of crisis, and the past has shown that: A crisis is usually followed by an upswing. The so-called ‘concrete gold’ is resistant to crises, and the Balearic Islands in particular, as in the times of the financial crisis in 2008/09, have once again proven to be a safe haven”.
