Micro-apartment complex by DOMUS VIVENDI and Mercurius Real Estate: apartments in the railway city of Heidelberg available to let
Frankfurt am Main, 26.09.2013
As one of the largest German urban development projects, the “Bahnstadt Heidelberg” combines proximity to nature with urban flair. DOMUS VIVENDI and Mercurius Real Estate are building a KfW 40 building at this promising location. The structural works for the micro-apartment building began in July. The apartments will be ready for occupation from the beginning of March 2014. They are available to let now. And initial enquiries have already been received. The development offers maximum flexibility. All 218 apartments are part-furnished and allow residents to move in quickly – they are extremely attractive to young professionals, commuters and individuals. The proximity to the main train station offers outstanding connections to public transport networks. The “Bahnstadt” district – the world’s largest passive house settlement – is distinguished by its various shopping and leisure activities. Thomas Oellig, managing director of DOMUS VIVENDI GmbH & Co. KG: “We are part of an innovative district and we want to increase the value with our energy-efficient residential complex. Our project is right on schedule.”
The development offers around 4,700 m² of living space, as well as 305 m² of commercial space. There is great demand for small apartments in Heidelberg and the letting process is beginning early as a result. There have also already been discussions concerning the commercial units.
