The Domus Vivendi Group and its partner Mercurius Real Estate AG have received
planning permission for their Bright Side project in the Frankfurt district of Gallus.
The 422 apartments on Weilburger Straße are likely to be ready for occupation in
the first quarter of 2018.
The 422 apartments on Weilburger Straße will be ready for occupation in the first
quarter of 2018. The 450-metre-long building comprises a total of 22,260 square
metres of living space. Three buildings will be built on the two plots and will provide
a needs-orientated mixture of compact, subsidised, compact and conventional units.
There will also be a children’s nursery with an outdoor space comprises some 600
square metres.
Great demand for “compact apartments”
The apartments are already in high demand. It is especially those apartments with a
“compact” design that have attracted great interest. They are based on the needs of
young families and senior citizens; for whom it is not the size of the apartment, but
rather the largest number of rooms that is important. Their budget often prevents
them from finding an apartment with the desired number of rooms in a city centre
location, however. Domus Vivendi and Mercurius Real Estate now want to close this
gap in the market: Bright Side contains 115 units with two to four rooms and a
maximum size of 80 m2 – at a price that even young families and senior citizens can
afford.

in the fresh air at the top of the building: each of the three buildings has a spacious
roof garden. From there you can enjoy expansive views over Frankfurt, including the
city skyline.
The Bright Side units were made available to rent at the early date of January 2017
