The Domus Vivendi Group lets 1,200 square metres to clever fit in Frankfurt’s
inner city

clever fit GmbH has let the commercial space in the “Green Four” residential and
office block owned by the Domus Vivendi Group. The premium fitness discounter
will create a studio in the 1,200 square metre unit. The company already runs over
220 fitness studios across Germany via franchise partners.
“clever fit has experienced enormous growth in recent years and has become a
major player in the industry thanks to its successful franchise system. This
encouraged us to work together with the company”, says Thomas Oellig, managing
director of the Domus Vivendi GmbH & Co. KG. Oellig expects that nearby retailers
to benefit from the new clientèle: “The studio will enhance the district.”
clever fit will be adopting an expanded concept from the start for the first time at the
Frankfurt city centre location. “Highlights include new training methods, various
wellness and relaxation concepts and around-the-clock opening hours”, explains
Nedzad Aksamovic, managing director of clever fit.
75 residential units, largely part-furnished
Green Four is situated in Töngesgasse – one of the oldest shopping streets in
Frankfurt
– in the old town between the Cathedral/Römer and the Zeil. The
apartments will cover an area of around 3,800 sq m. The 75 units are between 32
and 110 sq m in size. The majority are part-furnished. Tenants have access to 95
parking spaces. The Domus Vivendi Group has developed the building as a KfW
Efficiency House together with Mercurius Real Estate AG.
Domus Vivendi focuses on emerging, central locations. A total of around 470
apartments have been built in the vicinity of the new ECB and in Frankfurt-Niederrad.
In 2014, Mercurius Real Estate built a development with 218 units in the Bahnstadt
district of Heidelberg – the world’s largest passive house settlement.
